General Personality And Attitude: Curious, friendly, modest, quiet
A friendly wave and a smile is what she greets others. With close friends, she opens up with some stories but will mainly listen. Vupecula prefers to be in the background, listening and curious. She much rather spend the weekend at home reading books or helping her family than going to a party or be in a large group.

History:
The Skarrburn family are well-known for having flame-based sorcerers, as well as being famous for speed, friendliness, and, rather notoriously, hot tempers (it was rumoured that the first Skarrburn had flame markings, some say they were a phoenix-Of course, it was a rumour and a myth). Orion Skarrburn is one example. Also known as Lightning, his daring flights were a sight to behold and heart-stopping, with flames a common prop in his stunts. Many a heart went a flutter when he is around. Some say he was a womanizer. It was true he flirts, but he was set on one who stole his heart with her cool grace: Lunelle. Her indifference intrigued him, and he wished to be her friend, even mate when such a time comes. She teased him, forcing him to prove his worth to her, and when he finally caught her in a midnight flight, she accepted with such a gleefulness he thought someone scrambled his brain. From such a passionate union came an egg, and from that egg hatched their daughter, the latest in the Skarrburn line, named after her maternal grandmother, Vupecula. A lovely chick, with her father's fiery eyes of the Skarrburn and her mother's beauty, except for one thing. As soon as she could flap, her tears would flow as she clutched her left arm. They examined her arm but with little understanding. Only the doctors could confirmed what many of the air climbers fear.
She was weak in her left arm. And would never fly for long distances. A disgrace to the Skarrburn line.
But Orion never saw the disgrace. He loves his daughter, and he saw to it that she would still be a wonderful Skarrburn and a Harpy. Lunelle fell in love with her mate over again, and she never saw anything else in her lovely daughter: only her beautiful love and daughter.
Vupecula didn't understand why she couldn't fly like other Harpies, but it didn't hinder her one bit. She was curious about everything, asking questions and more questions, and reading a lot of books. Reading often helps, as stares and name-calling discourages her. With many reading came writing, and encouraged by her loving parents, she filled journals and wrote stories. Her imagination ran wild in her stories, and she wrote as much as she could, asking questions and listening. Her love of stories first let her try journalling, but the limited time for her to write her stories made her try something else: teaching. She would teach Creative Writing to students to love to write or want to write, and allow her time to write stories. Her unquenchable passion proved her worthy of the Skarrburn line.
